Life is always moving along, isn’t it? Each child of mine adds a stream of color to a rainbow of life and busyness and constant movement. I like it though. The busyness is a constant reminder of the richness of my life and the richness of their lives.
Our thoughts are collectively on Thanksgiving, playing with cousins, baking something new, indians, Nutcracker rehearsals, Christmas wish lists, and all of the other magic that begins to fill everyone’s minds this particular time of year. Our refrigerator door is covered with cut-up and pasted catalogs turned into wish lists and our kitchen table is consistently covered with remnants of some festive project or gift in the works.
Is there busyness in your home right now in this magical season? Hopes and plans and projects in the works? What are you most enjoying about it all?
On a side note, Bobby discovered an amazing cooking app I have to share with you before Thanksgiving. It is Panna— a video cooking magazine for iPad. There are incredible recipes with step by step videos and interactive ingredient lists. It is a beautiful app. Bobby (who is about to end his juicing fast–hooray!) has been drooling over the recipes for days now. He’s made me promise to make some of the dishes. And soon.
Tomorrow we are off to visit family that recently made it into town including my celebrity sister in law, Allison. You may have seen her on broadcast television in the states already–the singer with the pink guitar. Yep, that’s her. The twins are all ready to hear her sing her song live. They’ll be disappointed the pink guitar won’t be a part of the act.
