One of my go-to baby gifts I love to make: wool felt booties.  In the early years of making these, I tried embellishing them more and using cheap felt.  Now I stick with good wool felt with the perfect button.

A little late night project to today’s birthday party.  Last year I started a tradition of making a little something to decorate for the twins party and intentionally using it for one of their bedrooms after the party.  It is becoming a special little tradition.

Many of you know that my dear friend Ann, founder of Mommy Yoga and Yoga for Congo Women, and I have been planning an east coast event of Yoga for Congo Women for a few months now.  As it gets closer I’m really starting to get excited!  Posters have been scattered around this little town of mine in Carlisle, PA and last minute details are coming together.

I’m looking forward to today and the warm weather that weather.com promises here in PA.  We had a special weekend with friends–friends that my daughters fell in love with immediately.

Yesterday was one of those days when I question all of the important, unconventional decisions we’ve made as a family.  Taking the four girls on a sunny nature walk, knowing I was the only one home with kids (four at that) in my neighborhood, began me thinking…

I’ve just begun embarking on a journey for our family.  It is something I looked into with my sick stomach some months back.  And now, it is something that I am actually learning and living alongside: that of essential oils.

I’ve been thinking a lot about babies lately.  I would normally be expecting at this point (based on the age of my twins) and ready to deliver by now.   Although I am not finished having children, imagining a newborn alongside my toddler twins (and big girls) sounds extremely daunting right now.  (Plus I can’t imagine grocery shopping with one extra person.  Let’s see, wearing a sling, pushing a double stroller, putting groceries under the stroller, and my big girls walking alongside…)

But creating a shower for a friend makes me dream about those magical weeks before baby is born and anticipating meeting your child…
