Chalkboard paint went up right on Ainsleigh’s narrow wall, halfway up. And there it stayed waiting for the chalk and basket. A few days ago, they all were united with children’s scribbles and letters printed upon the wall.

Annabelle is pretty thrilled as well.
They carry the chalk basket around, sometimes outside, to draw now.
It is a welcome corner upstairs while I throw in a load of laundry or fold.
