This week while Rowan took a mini nap and the girls were preoccupied, I slipped downstairs, pulled up one of the kid’s chairs at their art table, and quickly used what uninterupted time I had to create for a moment. It felt so good getting that energy out. I used a few liquor bags (I usually use them to store long loaves of bread to give away) and cut them up as envelopes, punched out some leaves (which the kids would discover later and end up gluing on any scrap paper in sight) and began writing invitations…
So little Rowan Malcolm will be blessed in church this Sunday. I still don’t know what white pants he’s going to wear and how we are going to pull off a simple brunch for a few friends and family while Rowan and I are currently sick with a cold, but those are all details. What a special day for Bobby it will be to bless his first and only son on his 32nd birthday.
How is the beginning of your November looking? What you are looking forward to?
Happy weekend, friends!
