A new adventure has begun…
Ancient Egypt.
These are the moments I love. A few questions asked, a scarab and ankh made in Caroline’s art class, and now full throttle towards all things Egyptian. This is going to be an exciting ride.

Love! For us it’s the human body. Can’t wait!
How thrilling for you all! I’d love to hear how you explore.
Ooooh the Ancient Egyptians are exciting!! Wish you could just hop right over to London and visit the British Museum, it’s full of interesting Egyptian artefacts. My daugther liked reading about them (and the Greeks) when she was little and loved the Marcia Williams books, maybe you know them, but if not: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ancient-Egypt-Tales-Gods-Pharaohs/dp/140633832X/ref=sr_1_27?ie=UTF8&qid=1360769848&sr=8-27&tag=wp-amazon-associate-21
Enjoy the adventure
Thanks for the link and I wish we could go, skip, and jump over to London.
There is a Klutz book I had as a kid (I totally still do, actually) that had a section on Ancient Egypt. Oh how I remember the awe and wonder for it. I don’t thin that wonder has ever left. It is good to see your children having an excitement for it
.
I know! Egyptian art was one of my favorite art history classes I took in college.
Ooh! Brooke has a really cool ancient Egypt book we can all peruse while you’re here. I’ve never shown it to my kids but I bet Isobel would be into (especially if your kids are!).
Can’t wait to see it!
