wee ones: a baby series

It is hard to believe our little wee one is four months old!  He giggles, laughs, sucks his fist, and watches all of the activity around him so intently.  And his nursing has dramatically changed over the past few months.  Who would have thought that with introducing a pacifier to him (which forces him to use his tongue to keep it in) would help this previous tongue-tied, struggling nurser.  And thankfully, he has been nursing perfectly ever since.  It is a huge blessing indeed.

Rowan is quite ticklish and he loves when his hands are clapped together.  He takes mostly 15 minute naps these days (which is interesting with other kids at home) and loves to cuddle and nurse all night.  I think with my first children I would complain more than I do about sleep– now I make do where I can and just enjoy the intimate moments.

I’m happy to announce that this week is a Wee Ones Baby Series here on The Sleepy Time Gal–all things baby.  There will be super simple sewing project ideas for baby, a new tutorial, a giveaway, and more!  All week long!

I hope you stick around.  You’ll be seeing more of this big boy along the way.

How exciting! My own wee one is due in just a few more weeks, so I love the words “super simple” before the words “sewing project.” Thanks for taking the road to raising a boy just before me, so I get a bit of a head start on baby boy things from your blog. Very convenient! ;)
