Here’s the video from last night’s local news, thanks to my dad who recorded it. The intro definitely has a father’s touch.
It has been thrilling to see the local response to the “Boxes to Japan.” We are at about 480 boxes now! I am just waiting to hear what is needed in Sendai and then I will start shifting the address to the new location there. Thank you all for being so enthusiastic about this incredible journey we all have been on. Keep your eyes on the STG flickr group as I will be continually adding photos of your boxes arriving in Ishinomaki. Also, if you’re still assembling boxes for Ishinomaki, keep updated with the list of needs there as it keeps changing.
I’ll be back on Monday! Have a great weekend.

I’m sure this will only get bigger. Great interview
Thank you! It was actually really fun doing the interview.
I’m sitting here with tears in my eyes! You’ve done a wonderful thing and we’ve all been moved by it.
I only started it… it is all of you around the world that are MAKING this happen!
That’s pretty SWEET! YOU have an awesome voice!
How wonderful! What a perfect post General Conference project.
Beautiful, Nicole. I’m in tears!
It was so awesome to watch you on the news last night. I thought WGAL put together a great little clip. I love the first part when you’re playing with the girls and Johanna is just staring at the camera. I’m sure it was very exciting and memorable for the girls to have the news people there.
What a wonderful gift of service you’ve given. Thank you for being such a good representative of the church and being self-less with your time. You never seem to amaze me with how much love and concern you have for others, this is no exception.
Matthew 7:20 “Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.”
Thank you.
This is awesome Nicole! Just amazing!
That is so wonderful! I am so incredibly proud of you and this effort….you have always dreamed big and your vision is amazing.
This is just wonderful! The other day we made (or tried making) origami. Donations were made for each origmai figure. I am so amazed at how this project has grown. You are amazing!

Hi there! I read about all this thing at Jocelyn’s blog. My family and I are preparing a box too. Please email me the address where to send the package so we can get ours ready.
Thanks a lot for this wonderful opportunity to serve others. My heart swells with so much joy knowing how much Jesus loves the children and we are only instruments in carrying out our Savior’s mission.
Sincerely.
Cherry Soleta
So wonderful to actually see and hear you, who gave us all an opportunity to show our neighbors and the world what is truly wonderful about being a human being!! Participating in this has changed and opened us as well in ways we never imagined. I, too, admit tears watching this. Beautiful!!
Bravo Nicole! I am in Awe!
You make us all so proud! Thank you for being you!
Love it! My mom just e-mailed me wanting the address to send a box…but I didn’t know if you had a new address to send to yet? Thanks!
I will send it along…
